The aim of the event is to offer dance enthusiasts the most Brazilian experience outside of Brazil! To do this, we select the best international instructors who can not only demonstrate their incredible skill in performance, but also share their passion for dance through their teaching.

In 2012, we will give 1 couple the opportunity to experience Brazilian dance “down under”!

The successful couple will receive:

· Return economy airfares from Brazil to Australia, including accommodation and food allowance.
· A teaching and performance place at the 4th annual Brazil Central Zouk Lambada Congress 2012
· An instructor profile on our website (http://www.brazilcentral.com.au/instructors)

Applaud Productions directors, Tarcisio and Jada Teatini-Climaco will be attending the 3rd International Zouk Lambada Congress of Rio de Janeiro, and selecting a couple based on the following criteria:

· The couple will be proficient in zouk lambada and at least one other dance style (such as samba de gafieira, pagode, samba no pe, or bolero)
· The couple will demonstrate excellent performance abilities in areas such as presentation, musicality and artistically.
· Teaching skills will be assessed on their ability to manage a workshop, explain movements with leading and following techniques and to build a rapport with the students.
· The couple should conduct themselves in a friendly, professional manner, during formal and social sessions of the congress.
· The couple will show a willingness to dance socially with congress participants, and be keen to mix with other dancers.
· The couple must have current passports and be available to travel between 15th September and 4th October 2012.

Applaud Productions will be selecting a couple either from those registered for the professional training or others attending the rest of the event.

To be booked in this selection it is necessary for you to:

1- a- have a full pass for the III International Congress of Zouk and Lambada of Rio de Janeiro and/or
1- b- be part of the teaching team at the event. In this case there is a fee of just 100 euros to be part of the selections.
2- Send a DVD of a choreography, classes, improvisation, one portrait photo and one dance photo.
